No Reality Check Wednesday Nov. 26

We will not be meeting Wednesday, November 26th, as we take time to celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday with friends and family.  For some of us we take time to celebrate with friends, family and also those we can not stand.  As we all stop and thank God for all of the blessings He gives us, I encourage you to share your thankfulness with everyone you are with.  Even if you would rather not be in the same house or maybe even the same state as someone this Thanksgiving, show them the love of God.  Jesus said that people will know we are His disciples by our love.  Have a great thanksgiving and take time to thank God for His great love and grace!

Sterling College Visit!

We took a trip to the best college in the world in November.  For those of you who have never been to this awesome place that attracts some of the smartest people in the America’s, it is located in Sterling, KS.  The college I am talking about is, of course, Sterling College.  We went so that those who are interested in Sterling or wanting to find out how to pick a school could ask questions and find out more about Sterling College.  Where do you want to go to college?  Is there a school we should visit soon?

Creation Festival: The Tour

This past Sunday we stood and rocked with Christian bands for FIVE hours:  Kutless, Thousand Foot Krutch, Pillar, KJ-52, Fireflight, Worth Dying For, Run Kid Run, Esterlyn, Capital Lights, and speaker Bob Lenz.  The bands were great and Bob Lenz, the speaker, talked about how great Heaven is going to be and that we can bring a little Heaven to people on earth by accepting the love of God.

Hangin’ Out!

I was noticing this past Wednesday that the guys would not stop wrestling and the girls would not stop eating.  I wonder if the girls were eating because they were nervous that all of the guys were acting like crazy men?
