New Years Lock-in!

Reality Check Youth Ministry Presents:

- December 31st from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM on January 1st

- Featuring Guest Speaker Gary Ridge and the Jeff Clarke Worship Band

- Guys bring drinks and Girls bring food (it is not for you, it is to be shared with everyone)

Guys and gals will be together from 8:00 to approx. 12:45.  We will worship, learn, play games and win prizes all while bringing honor God.  The girls will then leave and go to CBF were they will spend the rest of the night doing things girls do.  I don’t know for sure, but I think that means they will talk, eat, talk, discuss, talk, play some games, talk and so on and so forth.  The guys will play video games and spend set apart times in devotions about how we can be the men God desires us to be.  The lock-in will end at 8:00 AM.

IMPORTANT:  No one can leave the lock-in unless their parents talk to one of the sponsors and give them permission to leave!

Anyone grades 7-12 is welcome.  If you are in college and are a graduate of Reality Check, you are also welcome.  If you are anyone else, like Jeff Gordon, you need to call and get permission.  The only person who does not need to get permission is Mike Shanahan.  Thank you for your support.

Any questions, please leave a post.  Any thoughts, please leave a post.  Any money, please leave it at my house.

Timothy falls over

Timothy falls over in amazement when he hears of God’s love!

This past Wednesday Timothy was so surprised to find out that Jesus came for us and knew He was going to die and was willing to do whatever it took to be our savior, he fell out of his chair.  Luckily he was not injured and was (laughed at and then) helped back out of his chair.  God is amazing!

A REAL Christmas Tree!

We now have our real live Christmas Tree up in our house.  So, do you have one up yet?  I am soooooo glad to have a real tree.  I love those painful little green spikes that smell good.  It is worth a little bit of clean-up to have a real tree.  Do you have a real tree or a fake tree?  Which would you chose if it was up to you?

Text Messaging!

If you are here I am assuming you got a text from me.  What do you think? Is texting a good way to remind everyone of events?  Would you like a lot of texting about coming events and Wednesday evenings?  Let me know what you think.
