In the book of Hebrews it says that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence that we will receive mercy and find grace to help us in our times of need. In this difficult time I am glad that God has not left us to deal with heart ache and pain all on our own. Not only has God provided faith in Jesus as a way of salvation, but He has also declared that He will never leave us. I have to admit that at times like this it can feel like He has left me and left some of my friends out in the cold. Even though I do not want to feel this way I have a hard time fighting the feelings that well up deep inside. As I look at how God has worked in my own life, in the lives of those around me and throughout all of history, I am reminded of the truth – He is indeed involved and He is desiring that everyone will come to Him.
I want to invite you to join me in seeking out God during this difficult time. It is during difficult times like this that we can call on God and He will provide what we need and we do not have to walk through this alone. Please join me in praying for eachother and especially for the families of those involved in the car accident. I pray that God will give these families a peace that only He can give.
